How to download and register as a new user
Download the Absa Mauritius App on Apple App Store, Android Playstore or Huawei gallery

Open the app on your device and click register

Enter your details and click next

Enter your bank details and click next

Choose between ‘account number’ or ‘credit card’ as ‘method of verification’ and input your details

Enter the OTP number sent on your registered mobile number

Create an online banking username

Create an online banking password

You will see a confirmation screen

You can choose to use your device biometry i.e. face ID or fingerprint for quick login next time
How to buy airtime
Open the Absa Mauritius Mobile App on your device

Log in

Select 3 lines at the top left of the screen

Select Beneficiaries

Select Add a new beneficiary

Select Buy Airtime

Select service provider (Emtel Recharge)

Input cell number and beneficiary name

Review and save beneficiary
How to buy electricity
Open the Absa Mauritius Mobile App on your device

Log in

Select the 3 lines at the top left of the screen

Select Beneficiaries

Select Add a new beneficiary

Select Pay a Bill

Select Electricity as biller type

Enter CEB Account Number and Beneficiary

Select next

Select save

Enter and confirm OTP

You will see a confirmation screen
How to do a fund transfer to an Absa account
Open the Absa Mauritius Mobile App on your device and log in

Select 'Transact'

Select ‘Absa to Absa’

Select 'Pay a new beneficiary'

Enter beneficiary details

Select the account you want to transfer from

Enter the amount and reference

Confirm transfer

For a quicker transfer to the same beneficiary in the future, you can select ‘Save beneficiary for future use’
