Step-by-step help guides for Internet Banking
  • How to register (new user)

    1. Visit www.absabank.mu
    2. Click on 'Log in' at the top right of your screen
    3. Choose between Personal or SME and business from the dropdown menu
    4. Click on 'Register'
    5. Enter customer information and accept the terms and conditions 
    6. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number
    7. Create your username and password on the password confirmation screen
    8. Click next
    9. You will see a confirmation screen and are now registered 
  • Download statements

    1. Visit www.absabank.mu
    2. Click on 'Log in' at the top right of your screen
    3. Enter username, password and OTP to log in
    4. Select 'Accounts and transactions' from the top menu
    5. Select which account's statement you would like to download
    6. Click on ‘Download to view' or 'Save as PDF’ 
  • Manage direct debit request

    1. Visit www.absabank.mu
    2. Click on 'Log in' at the top right of your screen
    3. Enter username, password and OTP to log in
    4. Select 'Transfer and payment' from the top menu
    5. Click on 'Direct debit request'
    6. Choose if you want to add, modify or delete a direct debit biller
    7. Enter relevant details such as biller type, biller name and customer number
    8. Accept terms and conditions
    9. Review and confirm
  • Manage my profile

    1. Visit www.absabank.mu
    2. Click on 'Log in' at the top right of your screen
    3. Enter username, password and OTP to log in
    4. Select ‘My profile’ from the top menu
    5. From here, you can change your password or username
    6. Click on 'Manage contact details' to change your email address and mobile number

    1. Visit www.absabank.mu
    2. Click on 'Log in' at the top right of your screen
    3. Enter username, password and OTP to log in
    4. Click on ‘Transfer and payment’
    5. Select ‘Pay a bill' 
    6. Select ‘New payee’ 
    7. Select a biller category and the relevant ‘biller’
  • How to pay your credit card

    1. Visit www.absabank.mu
    2. Click on 'Log in' at the top right of your screen
    3. Enter username, password and OTP to log in
    4. Click on ‘Transfer and payment’
    5. Select ‘Pay a bill' 
    6. Select ‘New payee’ under ‘Absacard'
    7. Enter the card number and click on 'Next'
    8. Enter the amount you want to pay and then click continue
  • How to do a fund transfer


    Absa to Absa, domestic non-Absa and international, including urgent local transfer
     
    1. Visit www.absabank.mu
    2. Click on 'Log in' at the top right of your screen
    3. Enter username, password and OTP to log in
    4. Click on 'Transfer and payment'
    5. Select transfer type
    6. Choose the account that you want to transfer funds from
    7. Choose a destination account or payee
    8. For a registered payee, enter the amount and payment description and click next
    9. For a new payee, enter payee details and follow the steps 
    10. Review and confirm transaction details

     

    Note:

    • The payee details you must enter, depend on whether it's an inter-account transfer, Absa-to-Absa transfer, domestic non-Absa account transfer, international or urgent local transfer, bank draft or manager’s cheque. 
    • For domestic transfers, you can select the payment to be instantaneous. 
    • You can add the payee to the payee list and give the payee a nickname to make recurring payments to that payee faster.

    5. Select ‘OTP management’
    6. Choose if you want to ‘Receive by SMS’ or ‘Receive by email’ 
    7. Enter the OTP you receive to confirm a change of channel
  • How to give travel notice

    1. Visit www.absabank.mu
    2. Click on 'Log in' at the top right of your screen
    3. Enter username, password and OTP to log in
    4. Select ‘Customer service’
    5. Select ‘Travel notice’
    6. Enter details such as account and card number, travel dates, countries you’re travelling to and any layovers you may have, then click next
    7. Review and confirm
